On 23rd June 2025, remembered marks the birth Anniversary of Waman Raghunath Shennoi Varde Valaulikar (23rd June 1877, place Bicholim, Goa- 9 th April 1946, place Mumbai) fondly known as Shenoy Goembab, leading Konkani writer and activist. He laid the foundation for standardised Konkani language and evolving literature with a pioneering vision and foresight.
