This is a great step and a step in the right direction. This will enhance the quality of knowledge obtained by students. Konkani speaking students need not worry about the financial front and concentrate only on studies and add new feathers to the glittering hat of the konkani speaking community.
However, here i would like to pose a problem which could solve problems of most students. There are many students like me whose family incomee is just above 3 lakhs of which majority goes into PF, loans as welll as education purposes of my two sisters. Hence, it is a burden for my family to pay huge amounts of money for my engineering. have a very good CET rank (821) and I am in need of this scholarship, but your second clause doesnt allow me, though i understand that the aim of this scholarship was to help students like me also.
Yours faithfully
