KSHAMATA

The KSHAMATA is founded under the VISION TVM programme by Vishwa Konkani Kendra to provide soft skills trainings to Konkani Youth. It acts as a Human Resources Training Academy. The KSHAMATA has successfully built a network of Human Resources Trainers from Konkani Community in the past year. A series of training programmes held during the year 2011 for the benefit of Scholarship Beneficiaries as well as General Konkani Youth.  Since its inception in 2011 series of training programmes being organised in World Konkani Centre for the benefit of Scholarship Beneficieries as well as General Konkani Youth.

Beneficiary Orientation and Training Programme (BOTP):

The BOTP is designed for First Year Beneficiaries of VKSSF. In this 3 Day Residential Programme which is being organised in the First Semester Vacations, they are not only being trained to develop their soft skills, but also oriented towards the cuase of VIshwa Konkani and will be made to visualize a robust Konkani Community of 2030 as envisioned in the Vision TVM.

Beneficiary Language Skills Improvement Programme (BLSIP):

The BLSIP is designed for instilling pride in the Mother Tongue Konkani, and improve their skills in English Language and Communication. Its a 3 Day residential programme specially designed for VKSSF beneficiaries.

General Management and Communication Skills Programme (GMCS):

GMCS is designed to impart a world class training to VKSSF Beneficiaries. The 4 Days residential programme will cover Presentation skills reports preperation documentation, Time Management, Stress Management, Negotiation Skills, Personal Image Grooming, Team Building and Team Management Etc.

Graduates Employability Skills Development Programme (GRADES):

GRADES are being organised with a Community based approach. Each Konkani Speaking Community will mobilise its Graduate Youth for participating in a Pre Menting Programme organised under KSHAMATA. Interested candidates will be then grouped in 50 for a Level A Training programme of 4 Days each. The Level B Training Programme will be conducted sorting candidates on the basis of their inherent skills and interest, then directed towards specific employment opportunities. IAS etc. Examination Awareness Programme: Every year an Awareness Programme for the IAS etc. Examinations being organised in the leadership of Dr. P.D.Shenoy, retired IAS officer and former Union Labour Secretary, Govt. of India.

KSHAMATA organises TRAINERS TRAINING PROGRAMME (TTP) for its band of trainers for updating and improving the Training Modules and Contents regularly. The students will be housed in the State of the Art Sri T.V.Raman Pai and Smt. T. Vimala V. Pai Hostel Block in the World Konkani Centre complex specially built for this purpose. The ever enthusiastic trainers and cordinators of KSHAMATA ensure the learning at these camps are fun and enjoyable for all the participants.

Currently KSHAMATA has achieved a 68 days Training Schedule in the year 2011-12 covering 850 Konkani Youth, it aims to increase this schedule to a 100 Days Programme to include around 1,500 trainees every year.
